Rodent models of immune-mediated arthritis are commonly used to evaluate the mechanisms of inflammatory joint disease in addition to testing the efficacy of anti-arthritic compounds. Collagen induced arthritis (CIA) and adjuvant induced arthritis (AIA) are two commonly used models for this purpose. In addition to these models, we also we offer our clients the novel collagen antibody-induced arthritis (CAIA) model allowing for a far more rapid induction of disease.
