Overexpressing Membrane Proteins on Virus-like Particles for Antibody Discovery
Membrane protein virus-like particles (MP-VLPs) are non-infectious and can display highly expressed copies of specific membrane proteins in their native conformation, providing an alternative to membrane protein stable cell lines, membrane preparations, detergent-solubilized proteins, and other membrane protein preparation strategies (e.g. liposome, nanodisc).
