There were an estimated 18 million cancer cases around the world. When it comes to cancer research, knowledge is the first step that's the most important. Learning more about cancer can help researchers better know the the mechanism of cancer development. Here, we __select a series of articles covering the pathogenesis of cancer including signal transduction in cancer, cancer immunology, tumor microenvironment, tumor suppressor to help our customers in cancer research.

Signal Transduction in Cancer

Signals are important to keep cells alive and functioning to stimulate important events (such as cell division and differentiation). Signal transduction is the process by which a chemical or physical signal is transmitted through a cell.

Cancer Immunology

Cancer immunology has been an area of investigation that is concerned with understanding the role of the immune system in the progression and development of cancer. The immune system usually responds to cancer cells in two ways.

Tumor Microenvironment

The tumor microenvironment (TME) is the environment between malignant and non-transformed cells, including the surrounding blood vessels, immune cells, fibroblasts, signaling molecules and the extracellular matrix (ECM).

Tumor Suppressors

Tumor suppressors, the products of tumor suppressor genes (also known as anti-oncogenes), transduce negative cell growth regulation signals such as those involved in cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
