Anti-HIV vaccination has found a new rival in monoclonal antibody injection. According to findings by a team of researchers at the University of Miami, one injection of anti-HIV monoclonal antibodies provided three years of viral suppression in a preclinical model.

A recent study on breast milk from women who pumped showed differences in the microbial content of their milk compared to non-pumped milk. Milk from women who pumped had more of the infection-causing bacteria and fewer bifidobacteria, which are generally considered beneficial.
