The research on SARS-CoV-2 variants has now attracted a great deal of attention from researchers and drug companies worldwide. These variants have complexities in terms of infectivity and antibody responsiveness. The impact of transmission, virulence, and antigenicity of these variants needs to be further investigated and determined.
