lacZ Monoclonal Antibody from CUSABIO
LacZ, also known as Beta-galactosidase, ¥â-galactosidase, or Lactase, is the enzyme in bacteria that hydrolyzes galactosides (sugars chains containing galactose) into monosaccharides and encoded by the gene lacZ.
LacZ is typically an extracellularly produced enzyme that hydrolyzes the beta-glycosidic bond between galactose and another organic moiety. In E. coli, the lacZ gene is present as part of the inducible lac operon system which is activated in the presence of lactose when glucose level is low.
CUSABIO provides a series of lacZ antibodies with wide validated application. Here, we show one product which is the most popular with customers among these antibodies.
